Oh well, people.. Im officially married now..

So that's one more addition to my family..

Im so glad everything went well.. Finally, the pre-wedding tension is over.

And the part that i enjoyed most during the wedding preparation.. was definitely the photoshoot. That was really fun.

My husband, Yusof and me would like to thank everyone who took the time to join us in celebrating our special day on 6th July 2008.

We are so honored to have our family and friends around during the wedding. Your presence and kind contribution is greatly valued. Many thanks to all of you!

Especially to those of you who took the extra time and expense to come to our wedding we would like to express our most gracious appreciation.

As for those who were unable to attend, we would like you to know that you were deeply missed.

Nevertheless, we hope that everyone would find it in their heart to wish us all the best in our marriage life. With your well-wishes, we are truly happy to embark on this exciting journey..

They say Paris is THE place to shop. Too bad.. not for me.

Went to Galeries Lafayette - nothing.
Champs Elysees - nothing.

I did follow my colleague to the LV boutique though. It was HUGE! And packed!
Multi-leveled LV.. In other words, DEATH BY L.V. Wahahaha..

Needless to say, I didnt take any pic of the shop. Too cliche.

But i took lots of pics of the Eiffel Tower. Which is more cliche, i think.. Heh :)

Give me Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame anytime man. I had more fun there. And of course, the Louvre.

The Louvre Museum sure was big. I think one day also cannot finish seeing everything inside..

But the best part was of course, seeing the Mona Lisa..

Being the 1st in the room and spending that few moments alone with her was truly precious.

On another note, I cant believe its already the 18th of June. *rubs hand gleefully*

Milan & venice

After being trained for the new 773-ER aircraft, i was so looking forward to going Milan.

Boy, was it great to be there..

Wat makes it better was that Shu Xia (aka Kelly) was also on the flight..

Of course, we couldnt missed out on trying the famous Italiano Gelato.

But best of all, i get to see Venice for the first time ever. And FYI, those rumours that said Venice is sinking, is false. Its just that the water is rising... due to global warming. Sad but true..

Everywhere you go in Venice, you will never fail to see shops selling masks, something the city is famous for. There's so many choices that me and Jo really couldnt make up our mind on which one to get..

V-day

Shots of yesterday..

Went to Lilliputt for the first time to try my hands at miniature golf.

Modelled after famous landmarks of Singapore, we sure had a fun time challenging each other on all of the 18-hole courses.

He won, though. Shucks.

But I sure was better at this than ice skating I tell u..

I had never ever ice skate before. And I cant even roller-blade. So needless to say, I fell like A LOT of times. Luckily MD got me this "besi" thingy.

Which, as far as I can see, was only used by children... But what the heck. It sure beats having wet buttocks and bruised knees.

It doesnt even matter that I still cant ice-skate after 2 hours. Cos we both had a good time.

And when asked what I want to eat for dinner..

Ikan pari, oyster sauce kailan and cumi-cumi just about hit the spot.. :)

Boracay

A couple of weeks ago, i went on a 4d getaway to Boracay, one of the islands in the Philippines.

What a beautiful island.

A nearer (and much cheaper) substitute for the Maldives, I'll say..

Me and MD really enjoyed ourselves there. We even thought of staying another night.

With fresh seafood all around the island, we indulge ourselves with lobsters, blue marlin, prawns, clams, crabs, mussels dan macam macam lah..

But the best thing is just the relaxing by the beach. With sand so white and water so blue, whats not to like, right? And of massages, mango juice and watermelon shakes, it sure was effortless to be at ease there..

When night comes, the entire White Beach would be bustling with activities. From live bands to lovely sandcastles, it was quite a sight to behold..

and especially so, is the sunset..

It was just.. simply beautiful.

2008 resolutions

As wat malays might say, Gedebak-gedebuk.. Dah dua ribu lapan..

Going back to my first Jan 2007 entry, here's my last years' resolutions.. Lets see how it went..

2007 Resolutions

1) Keep in shape. Alhamdullillah, i didnt put on weight or anything.. And I did go for my regular yoga sessions on my off days. So yah. Check this one.

2) Get my driving license. CHECK!!!! 23 Jul 2007, baby!! Woo-hoo!!

3) Continue to save. Last I check, i managed to save even much more than my target amount. But I think that my 6 month bonus really help me in this.. Another check.

4) Learn to let go. Well, i survived. SO there! Check this one too.

Not too bad huh? Maybe this whole new year resolutions thing can work for me.

And now, its time to list out my 2008 resolutions..

1) Pick up a new sport. Not sure what yet. But i'll see how this goes. Something else to keep me fit apart from my yoga.

2) Be in a more committed relationship. Quit playing around and be serious abit.

3) Save even more money. Maybe try to double wat i set for last year. Hmm.. could be hard. This one.

4) Reduce job stress. Be motivated and harmonized even when things get over-whelming.

Heres wishing everyone a Happy and Glorious New Year. I hope that 2008 will be a much better year for us with lots and lots of beautiful, meaningful and wonderful things that the new year can offer..

Hkf-Sfo with Jacq

Out of all my batch girls, there's only 2 that i never get to fly with.. Jacqueline and Mindy. So when i was rostered to do HKG-SFO with Jacq, i was quite excited... So excited was I that we actually discussed what we can do in Frisco.

And we decided to pre-booked the Alcatraz tour.

It was an interesting tour. We found out more abt the maximum security prison itself and get insights on how the inmates actually lived in those cramped cells.

But one thing i can say, it was freezing down there so when i found out that a few prisoners actually tried to escape, i swear i dunno how they think they could survive the icy waters surrounding The Rock.

But the trip there and back was beautiful. The city skyline of San Francisco coupled with a breathtaking sunset view of The Golden Gate Bridge was truly amazing.

And at night, when you can see the lights of the city from across at The Rock itself.. it was fantastic.

Back at the city, it was shopping and eating for us. And back in HKG, we met another of our batch girl, Mint, for the Christmas dinner, courtesy of the Kowloon Hotel. How nice they were..

And my latest indulgence for this trip..

Come to think of it, wat MD said was true. $400 for a piece of SILVER jewellery? Might not be so worth it after all huh...?

Momma's melbourne trip

Momma wanted to go to Melbourne.. and so momma got it.

onboard the new 773ER aircraft some more.. which im not even trained for YET..

And so did my sis..

but she had to go wif my aunt on EK though cos SQ was fully booked.

We all had a great time!! We ate so much and stayed up late almost every night just to catch up on things with my family over there..

Even took the City Circle tram together..

And my cuzzins.. They were THE BOMB! What a riot they were!! It was so much fun hanging out with them.

At which my mom obviously had a good relaxing time there..

So it was no surprise that we got a little teary-eyed when they had to send us off at the airport..

Oh well.. it was a good holiday for me. But after 10 days of leave, i feel so lazy to go back to work 2moro. Haizz...

Main thing is.. I was glad that my mom enjoyed her 8 days there.. And thats all that matters.

I have a red V shaped sunburn on my chest and its all thanks to the scorching sun in MALE.

But what the heck! Its the Maldives islands, bay-beh... whaddya expect?

It was such a lovely place... A beautiful honeymoon location indeed.. Onboard, you will see all these Koreans and Japanese couples with matching matching tops and they look so adorable and in lurve..

Im so glad that I have these wonderful people for company..

And this might sound cliche.. but really... Wish YOU were here... :)

Just like that... Hari Raya is over.. For the past 3 weekends I was kept busy with visitings and outings and yesterday was the last one with my SIM peeps..

Nevertheless, I had a great time going out with these people..

Hari Raya

If i hadnt change away my flight, I would be in Hong Kong right now and instead of having ketupat, i would most probably be eating dim sum. And then its on to San Francisco all the way till the 19th.. so thats just as good as NOT celebrating Hari Raya seh..

So boy.. was I glad that I change it for Copenhagen.. I would say that i had a good flight. And the best thing, I managed to touch down by 5.30am yesterday and got today and tomorrow off.. What more can i ask for..? :)

And just so u know.. you know Hans Christian Andersen's "Little Mermaid"? Its really little lor...

Not the kind of statue u would expect of a legend so popular in Denmark..

Although we heard that Tivoli Amusement Park is a tourist rip-off, we thought of just checking it out anyway.

But unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), it was closed for some redecorating purposes in lieu of the coming Halloween season (as u can see).

So we ended up just leisurely strolling down the walking street...

..and having a nice cup of hot mocha to end our first day in Copenhagen.

The next day, we took the canal tour from the famous Nyhavn pier.

So there... quite a nice trip, i'll say.. Of course, with great company, everything is good.. :)

And last but not least, wishing everyone a HAPPY AND BLISSFUL EID.. !

I think i quite burst my allowance for the Tokyo-L.A flight..

But it was worth it!

California Disneyland was soo FUN!

And in Tokyo, I kena 'stirred' to buy Burberry's Blue Label, exclusive only in Japan..
Haiz.. Wanted to get just 1 bag, ended up with these..

But my best buy has definitely got to be this..

The 910IS. The latest Canon digital Camera from Japan.

I laiiike!! With the Image Stabilizer, its gonna be no more shaky pictures with my super boh-steady hands.. Haha!

Oh.. I also went to the oldest temple in Tokyo, the Sensoji Temple in Asakusa.

Where there was some sort of blessing ceremony going on for this driver..

Im not really into F1 so i dunno.

What intrigued me though is these geisha girls right here.. who were part of the procession.

Finally, I get to see them for real.. Something Ive always wanted to do..

After 8 days, theres nothing better than getting to see MD after a long flight and be surprised by these..

And whats even sweeter is that he arranged it all by himself.. *hearts*

It sure feels good to be back... :)

Lover's quarrel

A girl in love asked her boyfriend.

Girl: Tell me. Who do you love most in this world?

Boy: You, of course!

Girl: In your heart, what am I to you?

Boy: The boy thought for a moment and looked intently in her eyes and said, "You are my rib. It was said that God saw that Adam was lonely, during his sleep, God took one of Adam's rib and created Eve. Every man has been searching for his missing rib, only when you find the woman of your life, you'll no longer feel the lingering ache in your heart."

After their wedding, the couple had a sweet and happy life for a while.

However, the youthful couple began to drift apart due to the busy schedule of life and the never-ending worries of daily problems, their life became mundane.

All the challenges posed by the harsh realities of life began to gnaw away their dreams and love for each other.

The couple began to have more quarrels and each quarrel became more heated.

One day, after the quarrel, the girl ran out of the house. At the opposite side of the road, she shouted, "You don't love me!"

The boy hated her childishness and out of impulse, retorted, "Maybe, it was a mistake for us to be together! You were never my missing rib!"

Suddenly, she turned quiet and stood there for a long while. He regretted what he said but words spoken are like thrown away water, you can never take it back. With tears, she went home to pack her things and was determined in breaking-up.

Before she left the house, "If I'm really not your missing rib, please let me go."

She continued, "It is less painful this way. Let us go on our separate ways and search for our own partners."

Five years went by...

He never remarried but he had tried to find out about her life indirectly. She had left the country and back. She had married a foreigner and divorced. He felt anguished that she never waited for him.

In the dark and lonely night, he lit his cigarette and felt the lingering ache in his heart. He couldn't bring himself to admit that he was missing her.

One day, they finally met. At the airport, a place where there were many reunions and good byes. He was going away on a business trip. She was standing there alone, with just the security door separating them. She smiled at him gently.

Boy: How are you?

Girl: I'm fine. How about you? Have you found your missing rib?

Boy: No.

Girl: I'll be flying to New York in the next flight.

Boy: I'll be back in 2 weeks time. Give me a call when you are back. You know my number. Nothing has changed.

With a smile, she turned around and waved good bye.

Good bye...

One week later, he heard of her death. She had perished in New York, in the event that shocked the world.

Midnight, once again, he lit his cigarette. And like before, he felt the lingering ache in his heart.

He finally knew. She was the missing rib that he had carelessly broken.

Athens

Wats a trip to Athens without visiting The Acropolis rite?
But the trip up the slopes under the burning hot afternoon sun is so unbearable!!

And just imagine, once we're up there, The Parthenon was under restoration works. How dissapointing! Hmmph!

But we did managed to take a couple of shots of the other temples and scenery though..

Ancient Angora was a much better sight...

And so is the island of Hydra..

Where the main form of transportation is donkeys.. as no motorised vehicles are allowed on the island.

We ate and drank so many times down there I almost burst!

I just wished that we had a longer stay in Athens. I so wanted to go to Santorini man...!

Last national day, when the nation was busy celebrating the independence of Singapore, I went to see the actual 'Singa' itself..

At Lion's Park in Johannesburg, South Africa..

And my, what a magnificient creature it is..

Majestic in its own way..

No wonder its the King of the Jungle.

Of course, we cant even get near to the lions but the cubs, we are allowed to touch..

Its just like a big cat.. So cute! I even asked MD for USD$20k to bring one home. The white one cost half a million..

There's also other animals we got to see.. Like cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, ostrich..

Having had enough of the African animals,

Me, Nicole & Ryan moved on to learn more about the people, at Lesedi Cultural Village.

Here I am with the Chief of the Zulu tribe, descendants of the great Shaka Zulu aka the Black Napoleon..

As much as I love Rome, Im glad that I decided to change it away for the Dubai-Istanbul flight. Plus, I get 3 off days ontop of my 4 days leave. Thats a whole week of not working, bah! How best is that lah!!

And Ive never seen so many Malay crew on a flight summore! Gerek seh..!

We decided to check out this club in Dubai called The Apartment at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Not bad at all.. Quite happening.

And my cousin was there too!

I also decided to make my baju hari raya there. 2 pairs cukup lah.. Belum tahu I'll get to be in SG or not. Haiz... that will be determined by the next roster.

So anyway, highlight of the flight was getting to go to Istanbul. I didnt know Turkish guys and girls could be soo cute seh... Cuci mata habis kat sana. But lets not stray cos thats beside the point...

Its when I visited The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia that I realised how beautiful a mosque can be.

We also went to the Topkapi Palace, where the Sultans of the Ottoman Empire used to reside.

Although we didnt get to go to The Grand Bazaar (cos it's closed on Sunday). we did took a walk at the nearby Arasta Bazaar.

Thats where we had our kebab lunch.

and had a round of Turkish ice cream while walking....

They dun call it Turkish delight for nothing, u noe.. Especially after a long walk under the sun. Phew!

July weddings

By and far most, July is THE month with THE most weddings that I attended.

It started with 070707.

Wedding of Vanessa and David at Meritus Mandarin.

It was a good chance to meet up with the IS gang that Ive not seen for a long time.

Actually, I was to attend my cousin's 'berinai' ceremony but I skipped that and went on the day after instead..

with my other cousins..

So full of smiles, indications of how happily married they are.. Good for you Lina!! :)

Next, the 15th of July. Together with the SIM gang, we went for the wedding of Farhan and Raudah. Followed by drinks at Olio Dome.

Then, come the 21st of July.

First, me and the girls went to Asian Civilisation Musuem for a short while for Fadly's and Shah's wedding.

What a glam affair it was.. Too bad I couldnt stay longer.

For I had to quickly rush for Ima's solemnization. Didnt manage to catch the nikah but at least got to see her and her new hubby just before they changed into their photoshoot outfits..

Me and Ziana have to wait quite a while before finally being able to take a pic with the lovely bride.

With backdrop some more hokay!! Dun play play... :)

And to the bride, my friend, Norima and her bridegroom, Fadzli.. Congratulations..!!

Finally, after 10 long long years and lots of tribulations, they managed to persevere through their relationship.

Kudos to both of them.. I feel nothing but happiness for them and I hope that they will have a marriage full of joy and blissfulness forever.

Heres wishing all the brides and bridegrooms a blessed marriage and everlasting love. Congratulations!!

Perth

The 5 days Perth pattern is hard to come by.. And I was so lucky to be rostered for it on my first Perth flight. On top of that, with good 'kakis', I really had lots of fun..

We rented an automatic car with a GPS system to navigate ourselves all the way to Swan Valley. Our initial intention was to visit the vineyards there but we ended up at Margaret River Chocolate factory instead.

Of course, no love lost for me. Give me hot chocolate over wine anytime, man..

And we all had a great lunch too..

We also visited the Caversham Wildlife Park to see all the Australian native animals in their natural habitat.

And even get to come up close and personal with them.

This stinky wombat here is 25kg, mind you. Blardy heavy. Needless to say, the rest of them dun dare to come near me after that.. Not until I sprayed tonnes of perfume on myself, that is.

Hmmph!

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is well known for a couple of things...

1) Windmills

2) Wooden Clogs and Tulips

3) Dutch cheese

4) Legalized Pot

and among others, its explicit red light district.. which I wasnt able to visit since no guys wanted to bring me there and I was strictly prohibited on going with just the girls. *sulk*

Oh well...

At least I got to go to Madurodam.

Where you can basically see all of Hollands' attractions in one place.

On a scale of 1:25 that is.

Its like having a bird eye's view of the Netherlands in miniature. So interesting!

And I so love the town of Edam.

Centred around canals, I find the idea of living in the lovely canal houses really appealing..

Lucky for us, last Sunday, the town had some sort of a festival and you could basically see everyone of them in costumes.. like this.

For a while, it felt as if you've been transported back to medieval times..

Konon konon ajer...

Phuket

One of the things that Ive been wanting to do was to take my family for a holiday. And that I did. To Phuket,Thailand..

And with us, my dearheart came along too..

Instead of staying at the over-commercialised Patong beach, I opted to stay at a less populated Kata beach at the Kata Palm Beach resort.
No regrets in choosing the Deluxe Pool View room.

Our rooms were really spacious complete with verandah and bath tub.

Very comfortable.

And our chosen transport for the trip.. A Suzuki Vitara jeep.

Equipped with a Phuket map and a skillful designated driver, we basically toured the whole island on our own, hassle-free, without having to worry about transportation.

And thanks to easy transportation we managed to go to the various beaches of Phuket. Swam @ Kata, eat @ Surin, shopping and sea sports @ Patong and lots more..

Even watched sunset together at Laem Promthep.

And yours truly also attempted parasailing for the 1st time ever.

It was such a nice experience, being high up there in the air with your feet dangling above the blue waters below.

How I wish I could bring along my camera cos the view was really fantastic.

And it was also my brother's first time trying jet-skiing. With my sis in tow.

The intention for the trip was to rest and relax.. For my mom, every day she gets a massage but her most favourite one is the beach massage. This one right here.

Foodwise, we tried various eateries.. from roadside banana fritters to seafood restaurants..

The best part of the trip was our visit to Phuket Fantasea. It has such an amazing display of colors, lights, shows & costumes.

And thats where i also got my much anticipated elphant ride and feeding.

There was also various game stations. I was telling MD that it would be nice if he could win me something. And he ended up winning for me so many things.

So nice rite!

And I must say, he's really good at shooting!

All and all, it was a good holiday. My mom asking me to take her to Melbourne next. Hopefully I can get to bring her there by the end of the year..

Stonehenge

Stonehenge, a World Heritage Site, is the most outstanding prehistoric monument in the British Isle.

Being in the centre of one of the world's earliest cultures, it was mapped to the course of the sun and moon by the ancient people.

It comprises of Sarsen stones, brought from Marlborough Downs some 30km away and the smaller Bluestones, so-named as they turn blue when wet, are from the mystical Preseli Mountains in Wales which is about 385km away...

Although Stonehenge is not the largest stone circle in the world, the one thing that makes it unique is that it has lintels around the top.

Nobody knows the truth on how these stones get to stand upright cos it required sheer muscle power and hundreds of men to even move them, the heaviest probably weighing abt 45 000 kg.

There was a myth though that giants had helped the Great Wizard Merlin to build Stonehenge in the Arthurian legends.

Whatever it is, we can expect on this June 21st, during the summer solstice, which is the longest day of the year, there are sure to be a lot of visitors to this amazing monument..

Journeying through the English countryside, we stopped by a traditional English Pub called The Bell..

.. to have a traditional English Roast Beef Lunch and I-dunno-wat (but it sure was delicious).

Another world heritage site is the The Roman Baths in the English City of Bath.

With a temple dedicated to the ancient Pagan deity with healing powers, Sulis Minerva, it is said that this was the site where a lot of worshippers gathered to pray and make sacrifices to the goddess.

This also acted as a public bath house to which men and women alike can enjoy a luxurious warm swim in The Great Bath..

..or a cold plunge in The Circular Bath.

A fantastic spa indeed for the ancient Roman Britains people of Aquae Sulis.

Finally, and my most favourite part of the tour, was a visit to Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Within this charming little town, lies the birthplace of the famous playwright and poet William Shakespeare.

It was such a lovely opportunity to be able to walk through his house and read his amazing life-story

..and exclusively sipping champagne (or orange juice) and having delectable strawberry scones in his picturesque garden.

Of course, I did quite a bit of shopping in his gift shop..

..where I finally found my Knights in (shining) Armour.

Bday update

1 week have passed since my bday and I have yet to make any updates on it..

First and foremost, on my bday eve, I got a nice surprise from my girlfrens after my flight who came down to the airport wearing party hats and carrying balloons.. Nasib baik tak kena tangkap dgn police seh! We went for desserts at Swensen where I had my Sticky Chewy Chocolate and a bday song from them at the stroke of midnite. It was so sweet of them since they all had to work the next day. So we arranged to meet for lunch..

I was supposed to go for my yoga first but I ended up waking up late. But by hook or by crook, I still want to make it for lunch as we have planned to go to Warung Lele.

And that is THE place that Ive been wanting to go since god-knows-when. I remembered way back in October last year when I wasnt able to join the SIM gang to buka puasa there and I was pretty upset tau...

I wasnt dissapointed this time cos we had a good lunch..

And a heavy one at that.

I was so full after that! So all I had when I meet Ida in town was this.

And even that I cant finish.

Anyway, I still have to reserve my stomach for dinner with MD. We went to check out The Cannery at Clarke Quay and chose this restaurant called Highlander to have our dinner.

I wanted to have steak you see, and the only other place there with a nice atmosphere that had steak was this place with steak that cost $99. To me, with that kind of price, if its not Black Angus, then its not worth it..

Well, it was a nice dinner. The restaurant has this Scottish theme to it.

Even the waiters wore kilts. And their steak was not bad. Anyway, at least we tried something new...

We ended the night watching Pirates of the Caribbean.

After which I have to go on straight home as I had a 8am flight to Colombo. Haizz.. tak kasi chance langsung. Birthday pon kena activated..

But because of that, I got an off day on Vesak day. Actually, I tot of visiting the Istana but alas, I found out that its only open on 5 public holidays. So much for trying to get in touch with my nationalistic side! But I had a much better time with MD. So no love lost there..

It was a day of Calvin Kleins, Kenneth Cole and Fullerton. Nice!!

I so love the cheeseburger!

But somehow they didnt had the Fullerton chocolate cake so for desserts we had these instead..

And what a satisfying day it was!

The next day, after my CGK turn, I met with my SIM gang for chicken rice dinner at Rex.

And my first time ever to Mind Cafe. Although we did have a little bit of indecisiveness between that and karaoke.

But because of this game, we decided on Mind Cafe.

Mind you, its NOT "Hisss" or "Hiss Hiss" hokay! I insist on naming it "SSSSSSSSS".

Actually we are supposed to be celebrating the birthday of all the May babies but I ended up being the only one present so this whole bday cake was for me..

I've seen it!! One of the Seven Wonders of the World..

The Great Pyramids of Giza... in Cairo

And my.. it was such a magnificient sight! To see huge slabs of stones stacked so high.. you can feel nothing but amazed at how its actually been built in those ancient times..

But first... you have to withstand the sun, heat and not to mention lots and lots of sand of the desert.

Luckily theres Max.. my trusted steed.

For I cant imagine walking on foot through that!

And see the Sphinx itself in the flesh... i mean stone.

For your info, the grand structure of the Sphinx is made from only one HUGE slab of stone, carved into a being with the face of a man, head of a woman and body of a lion to protect the pyramids itself..

As part of the tour, I got the opportunity to climb down through THAT and come face to face with a real coffin..

Of course, theres no mummy in there but what was astonishing was that while it was so hot outside, it was really very cooling inside the tomb..

After the desert tour, we visited the Egytian Papyrus museum.

Egyptian papyrus is known to be the first form of writing surface invented from way back in Ancient egypt and because of the way it is produced, it is known to last for a long long period of time... Unique isnt it?

If you are into history and artefacts, then you must visit the Cairo Museum. Inside, you can see thousands and thousands of ancient artefacts including those found in King Tut's tomb.

Unfortunately, no cameras are allowed inside so all I took back are memories and amazing sights.

My favourite has definitely got to be the mask of Tutankhamun. Ive seen it so many times on discovery channel and so, having to see it live in its grandeur was indeed a lovely opportunity..

And so is staying at the lovely Conrad with a splendid view of the River Nile just outside my balcony...

Sorry I cant wish u on the day itself.. I was in Nanjing and I didnt bring my charger so my HP was practically dead. But as wat I can see, you sure had one hell of a rolling good time!! Congrats!! Counting down to the 26th now.... hehehehe.

And to another birthday girl, my best friend of 13 years.. Roslinda!! Happy birthday to u too!! As it is, I was glad that I manage to celebrate ur bday itself. Although I just came back from Taipei, I didnt mind rushing back to change and quickly came down to East Coast for ur birthday dinner at none other than...

Red House Seafood Restaurant.. where we ate to our fill.

Us.. after our Black Pepper Crab, Creamy Custard Prawn, Sweet & Sour Garoupa, Oyster Kailan, Deep Fried baby squids and of course Chilli Crab with 15 bread rolls.

What a dinner that was!!

Another special person whose birthday also fall in May is MD. My dearheart.... As luck would have it, I got a day off on the 12th of May. Right after my Nanjing. But since I got standby duty the next day on the 13th from 0000 hours onward, I didnt dare make plans for dinner. So I took him out for lunch instead. But I didnt want to just go for any lunch.. I want some thing that we both have never tried before. At first we didnt know where to go. We went to Vivo City and found it..

Its called.. The Mussel Guys

When I saw the restaurant's name on the directory, I instantly remembered having mussels in Auckland at The Occidental Restaurant and it was really really good! But Ive never heard of any mussels restaurant in Singapore so I was really excited to give it a try..

The birthday boy trying to do what also I dunno.. My guess is he wants 11 mussels up his nose..

There was not much people there and we found out through our friendly waiter that we chose the right time to come as it gets really busy during dinner and the cook would not have been able to take his time to prepare really good food for us. So i guess we were lucky.. And as it turn out, the food was really good.

It comes with fries some more! Best!

One dozen of the baked mussels with cheese mornay.
Eat them with tobasco sauce and it sure gives the kick!

Just having mussels is not enough so we also ordered the seafood pasta.

I must say that it was a really musselicious meal. A good substitute for those mussels that I so miss having in Auckland.

After the meal and a good walk around Vivo city (plus a 20min eyebrow shaping session at the Esprit Salon- my eyebrow was in such a mess that I cannot tahan hokay!!), we make our way to watch a movie.. and what else to watch rite??

Other than the hyped up Spider-man 3..

So that was it.. basically my time with him is up.. For now I have to 'casually' make him go to Pasir Ris Park where his frens tengah standby for his surprise birthday bbq.

Which turn out to be not so "surprise" for him as he actually manage to catch a few hints and so was expecting it already. Hmmph!! Action seh!!

Okay.. enough on birthdays. For yesterday was Mother's Day. And instead of me bringing my mom out for makan or something, I had to stay home and have my mom look after me instead... I was diagnosed with stomach flu, you see.. My mom made chicken porridge for me and stayed home to take care of me. It was really dreadful. Im going to treat her for a holiday in Phuket next month. Sightseeing, seafood, spa, shopping.. All expenses paid. That I'll do for her..

So I would like to take this opportunity to wish my momma a Happy Mother's Day. Love you lots mom and I promise to always take care of you no matter what...

As it already is, its very hard to catch up with them and I dont only mean it in terms of getting hitched.. but in terms of arranging a convenient time slot to which all of us can make it. Wats with our respective busy schedule, more so for them now since they're busy making the wedding preps with the hubby-to-be's...

And I so miss them... much much. The last time we met together was last year for our birthdays.. So imagine how nong nong ago was that.. Die2 I must see them last saturday. Dun even care if I had a 5am flight to report to the next morning..

And our location of choice... Amirah's Grill.

And our food of choice... BBQ chicken chop, Black pepper beef ribs, Mushroom beef ribs and Lebanese style Hummus..

Oh yah.. and not forgetting my Morroccan Mint Tea in a Jacob's biscuit pot. Style! I laike...!!

And of course, this meet-up was my opportunity to give them some souvenirs I got for them.. tees from NY, chocolates from FRA, bears from LON, dolls from RUS, dates from DXB. Which just goes to show that though I dont see them often, I do think abt them all the time..

Luv ya both makciks!! Hopefully marriage life will bring nothing but the best for you. I feel nothing but happiness for you two lovelies to finally settle down with two equally good men who are worthy of your everlasting love & committment..

And for us 3, i wish our friendship will be everlasting too..

I was not able to join the rest for Mind Cafe after the ceremony. I went straight to the airport to meet my girls for our first ever trip together to...

KUCHING, Sarawak. Best!! I had lotsa fun there with them...

Besides the picturesque view of Mount Santubong from our Holiday Inn Resort, the Damai Lagoon is just a walk down the staircase from our Superior Poolside room, where you can be enchanted by the endless sight of the sea surrounded by the lush greenery of the jungle.

Truly relaxing...

And what better way to enjoy all this by going for an invigorating spa massage right on top of the hill itself.

And of course, no trip to Sarawak would be complete without a visit to The Sarawak Cultural Village and the Sarawak Musuem itself, touted to be the best in Southeast Asia. Learning more about the cultures of the Dayaks, their unique rituals, beautiful dances is all but enriching.

But what makes it all worthwhile is being there with ur close friends, just simply enjoying each other's company.. To relax and have fun... in the form of a short getaway..

To commemorate this, I bought us each a friendship band.

For the sake of friendship as well as memories... Here's to more 'getaways' together... :)

My gawd!!!! Out of all the flights Ive been on so far, this has got to be the one where I ate the most... They say that HKG-SFO is a shopping flight and that you will surely spend a lot. They sure as hell got the latter part right though.. cos most of my moo-lahs was spent on food! And if I hadnt exercised more self-control on myself, FOR SURE I would have burst my allowance on shopping as well.. Cos right there, in front of our hotel in SFO, is a shopping paradise, i tell youu!

Abercrombie&Fitch, Old Navy, Gap, American Eagle, Urban Oufitters, JuicyCouture, H&M, Macy's, Bloomingdale, Nordstrom, Saks... U name it! Its right there... And they are all within walking distance some more... Scary, I tell you.... I've got colleagues spending over $500 in just 1 day. Luckily i managed not to succumb so much on the shopping.. But then hor, i didnt manage to do so well when it comes to food... Everything all I want to try.. Haizz... But it was all worth it. :)

Thats the fresh crabs. Remind me of having chilli crab in SG. But a must-try here is the clam chowder and fried calamaris. If you can jostle thru the crowd, that is...

It sure is a chocolate heaven there as well... Theres quite a number of chocolate shop selling all sorts of chocolatey stuff... i laike!!

The sight of Alcatraz - from a distance. Me and Syam wanted to go there actualli, but the tickets are fully booked! Hmph! Upset...

Seals actually came here to relax lah!! Voluntarily some more. Thats them way back in the pic.. Though they are kinda cute to look at, you must really tahan the smell. Its similar like ikan masin kat pasar.. Bleargh!

Satisfied with the food and sights at Fisherman's Wharf, we went back to Union Square and in the midst of shopping, theres always time for a pic..

This was on Easter Sunday whereby Macy's and most shops were closed. Luckily we already did the major shopping the day before.

Saks was closed too... And it was such a lovely day to be out shopping.. What a waste.

But we fret not cos The Cheesecake Factory was open for business. Highly recommended!! All sorts of cheesecake can be found here. A must-go if you're a cheesecake lover. Im not though...

But at the sight of this.. I gave in helplessly to temptation. Chocolate lover, I am... What more Godiva chocolate..

First round: Fried calamari and strawberry lemonade.. Cant go wrong.

Next, Caesar Salad with chicken. I swear this is the biggest portion of salad i have ever seen. Needless to say, I cant finish it for nuts!

On to the main course: Shrimp *something something* with Angel Hair Pasta. One word, delicious. Though the portion was also big, I managed to finish it cos it was so so nice...

And of course.. what better way to end a meal than a huge slice of the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake, complete with Godiva chocolate and whipped cream... It was truly heavenly.

Back in Hong Kong, after being persuaded by the rest, they say that I HAVE to try the dim sum. Its a must do in Hong Kong. So that I did..

Thats him right there.. The one responsible for all my MUST-try, MUST-eat, MUST-do and MUST-buy. But that didnt matter cos he was good company...

And also, the beautiful and sexy Syam. I keep telling her that she sure as hell look like Ziana Zain seh.

It was reali great to finally get to meet up with the SIM gang for dinner yesterday..

The widespread international buffet can surely make us full. Just having the salmon sashimi alone can make me satisfied.

See how satisfied i was?! As for Hafeez, he was officially the weakest link.. him and his sekejap jer dah kenyang.. I think even Tuty had more food than him!

And Dean.. jangan cakap ahh... Obviously he had his most fill... :)

This is a classic.. The waitress brought that hotplate seafood and we all thought it was Azhar's since he wasnt at the table. But when he came back, he was like.. "Ehh.. did i order this?".

So anyway, poor MD had to pick me up and send me all the way there while my brother went to the workshop. On top of that, he also waited a long long time for me to be done with the whole solemnization ceremony before sending me back home. And although he was not too happy abt it, i so hearts him for doing what he did... :)

And even so, i still can get cold rash on my arms and legs and cold sores on my face. What the heck! I even had my nose bleeding for a while. I could not imagine what would happen if I had braved the weather and went sightseeing or something. *shudder*

New York

4.23am. GMT -5.

Its cold here in New York. In fact when we touched down at the airport, it was snowing. I was too tired to go out right after check in and instead slept like a pig all the way till abt 10pm. So now im awake as an owl. Hungry.

It would be crazy to go out & grab a bite now so basically im just eating off my ration of biscuits and cheezels. Not your ideal meal but that will do, till sunrise...

Plan for the day..... Nothing. Well... maybe... just Macy's.

Plans aside, Im kinda feeling let down right now. Thwarted. Saddened. It is exactly by not doing anything thats making me feel frustrated.

Im sure you know what I mean.

It isnt so hard and yet why does it seems so difficult? No excuses or reasons can constitute your actions.. or the lack of it.

I know this is a bit the basi already but I still fell that I should at least blog a lil something about how I spent my Valentine's Day..

It so happened that the company has put me on 3 days annual leave from the 14th to the 16th. Just nice to go out of town for a lil bit.. So I didnt go far. Took a trip to KL cum Genting with MD for a relaxing celebration up in the highlands. Our first, mind you... :)

I really enjoyed it. The feeling of clean, crisp fresh air around you is totally reposeful. Calm and soothing. Just what I needed. And yah.. although its almost a misdeed not to go for the thrill rides if you go to Genting, I really couldnt bring myself to "just do it". My most adventurous ride was the Flying Dragon, that im sure even kids could laugh at..

Instead, I went for those slow and steady and what I call "chill" rides instead of "thrill" rides. Awrite aperrr....!! Luckily, MD did not force me. In fact, he was very very nice throughout.. except for the last part on the bus ride home when he make fun of my feelings regarding the stars.. But all ended well still and im so glad that he's with me.

Great!! Just great!!

I finally setup the new PC and it turns out that my hard disk have crashed. Already, the computer is giving me problem.. even before i start using it. So blardy suay, man...

I also dunno why I waited so long to set it up when it was already delivered to me on Jan 14th. Luckily its still within the 30 days period. They said that they'll come next week to replace the hard disk. I hate this whole waiting game...!! Aarggghhhh!!!

Anyway, I just did a Dubai-Moscow flight with my team and it was great. Went on the desert tour and even get to meet up and hang out with my cousin. And yah... out of all the places in the world, Dubai was the first place that I went out clubbing to when overseas. But it was with a great bunch of people and I really had fun.

Although I had on 3 pieces of thermal plus turtleneck plus topcoat plus scarve plus heat pack, yet I still couldnt stand it. And when my nose starts to run, I swear I could feel it freezing up. The one day tour includes a visit to the famous Moscow's Red Square, The Kremlin and the Armory Musuem. I was glad that we took on the English guided tour cos I wouldnt be able to understand what in heaven everything was about. To top that experience, the best thing was to feel snow falling down. My first time ever. And my... it was beautiful.

The Batam trip was fun. Despite the on-and-off rain, which hindered us to do any sea sports ativities, we still managed to do go-karting. We visited a couple of shopping centre where we are all busy calculating how cheap stuffs are over there. Grade 2 or not.

And of course, the food..! Need I say more? Local, inexpensive, warung style nasi padang.. Classic A&W waffles, root beer float and curly fries.. and what better way to end the night with a seafood spread on a kelong... Best!

Its the start of my 4 day leave. Some of my colleagues were asking if I had plans to go for a short trip somewhere. I wouldnt mind actually.. but too bad, no kaki to go holiday-ing with.

I remembered planning for a trip to Boracay with the gals.. but last month, that plan got cancelled as Ros would be going to Paris to meet her bf instead. Dahlia have to be in KL, and as for Faz, she cant take leave as she just started her new job..

I have to say, I was a tad dissapointed that I couldnt go for any short getaway but I was pretty alright with the idea of just staying at home and do nothing. Like wat MD said, my work itself da macam pergi holiday... Macam jer, okay!! Work is still work. There's alwiz the good and bad side of it.. just like any other job.. Besides, if not for my leave, when else can I have the pleasure of going out of town with my own friends and loved ones?

And the best thing, I will get to do both! Rest at home as well as go for a 1 day trip with my chums to.....................................

So in the meantime, I'll just go for my yoga classes and recuperate at home. The class I went to just now made my legs turned to jelly. A lot of legs-in-the-air actions and making it stay up!

Which reminds me... its best I go read up on the terms they used to name certain postures. Theres "Downward facing dog" la.. "Cobra" la.. "Crescent" la... "Warrior" la.. "Plank" pon ada... I tink im the most blur there. Asyik kena tengok instructor jer...Until he kept on coming over to adjust my posture. So pai-sey seh..! I'll be going for another Hot Yoga session with the same instructor 2moro.

And what more, MD will be going with me.... :) *smile gleefully*

Yoga

I went for my first Yoga class yesterday at True Yoga. As a member... Hehehe..

Just the day before, Dahlia, she herself a VIP platinum member, brought me in as a guest to try it out. And after that trial class, I signed up for the 2 year membership. I mean, why wait right? Its part of my resolution anyway. And what more, I get access to all their clubs including the newly opened gym at OUB centre..

But yoga is NOT funny, I tell you.. After the class yesterday, I was so dead beat. Luckily we had plans to meet Ros and Faz. If not, I would have just went home straight and mend my aching body. Maklumlah, tak biasa kan..

Although yoga might not really be a strenuous form of exercise, I'd say that it is the intensity of the routines that makes it somewhat straining. Im still a beginner so i still have yet to get used to it. The instructor said that with more practice, the fatigueness will not be there and instead i will feel more rejuvenated. Hmm... macam nak suruh datang banyak2 kali je..

But because of my irregular days and hours of work, I also have to get used to going for the classes by myself. Dahlia will only be around on weekends so her yoga sessions quite fixed. One good thing for me though is that I can go for the off peak sessions, where there'll not be many people and the instructor can put more focus on you.

But of course, kalau ada geng, thats much better. So if anyone of u is interested to try yoga out, go with me hokay...

Happy New Year Everybody!! Wish u all prosperity, joy and luck throughout the year, filled with good memories and laughter and love....

Before I start on my new year resolution, I would like to review on my last year's resolutions..

1) Save more money - Hmm... I'll say that I definitely saved more in 2006 than 2005. Although my intention to spend less didnt exactly worked out, at least I did managed to set aside some money from my pay to put in my savings. So Im happy with this.

2) Keep healthy - I dont know about the exercising regularly and eating more healthy food part. But the weight part, thats definitely accomplished. I manage to lose weight to even less than my target weight. Thanks to aircraft food and irregular meals i guess...

3) Study hard - I wanted to get at least a 2nd lower. And I did just that.

4) To love - And be loved unconditionally. Stick to one and hope for the best. Thats where MD comes in. And so far, so good... :)

So you see, Im glad i managed to achieve all of my resolutions last year. Lets see whether my New Year' resolution for this year will work out the same.

2007 Resolutions

1) Keep in shape. I intend to try doing this through yoga. Hopefully the physical and mental exercises will be able to help discipline myself to keep a healty lifestyle.

2) Get my driving license. No more curb mountings watsoever.

3) Continue to save. Set a target amount for myself and work on achieving it.

4) Learn to let go. Be more positive in learning from whatever bad experiences that I might have.

I dont know how 2007 will be for me. If I could jot down my defining moments in 2006, it would be too many for me to list. But nevertheless, Im glad that whatever happened, happened and I feel blessed enough to be provided with the opportunities to see places, hear stories, taste happiness, smell love, touch hearts and feel experiences.

And with that I would like to thank all those people who's been a part of my 2006. Cheers to you and your loved ones..

Today I made a vow. Never to watch any animations in cinemas. Even if the movie is No 1 in the US and its almost THREE weeks since its release date. However good the movie is, its so hard to enjoy it with so many kids around you! And you know how they say kids today are much smarter? Now I know why... They asked too many questions!! It doesnt even matter if its in the middle of the movie.. if they wanna know, they must know there and then. And they are quite vocal about it as well, mind you...

Not that I hate kids or couldnt stand them. In fact, I really admire those with such inquisitive minds. But in a movie theatre, they are really a huge distraction. So yah, I think in future, if theres any good cartoons tat I wanna see, Ill just stick to watchin their DVDs.

Apart from watchin Happy Feet, I also finally got down to gettin my danglin navel ring thats like long overdue. I dont even know why I took so long to get it. Its been on my list for so long. So there..

Finally can strike this off my list..

MD came to fetch me back and we stopped over @Bugis to eat. Visited the arcade and tried out this challengin new game on the Y2K machine. Its called "Monkey and Fruits". Yah yah.. I know.. The title itself how challenging lahh... We somehow got hooked on it and we just kept on playing till we reached the final stage.

Actually I dont really like to go arcades. Im a terrible gamer and theres not much games that I can play. I will only play those simple ones like Photo Hunt and the classic Puzzle Bobble. Boring right...So with this new game, whenever Im taken to the arcade, I can be more excited abt it... At least I wont grumble or make, what MD calls, my "muka M". :P

I kinda miss blogging. To me, blogging would allow me to journal down my thoughts and experiences so that, at any time, I can look back and fondly recall what happened in my life at one point or another.

And as some people might say, pictures paint a thousand words. So with photos, its much better remembered...

Like my trip to Frankfurt, where I went sightseeing with Boy by night..

And by day, its a walk around New York City by myself...

Or the times I spent with my girlfrens having coffee and desserts to just catch up on things..

I know this is a bit belated but my computer is TOTALLY down and Ive terminated my Singnet Broadband due to some issues that im not happy about.... Thats the reason why ive not been able to go online. Once Im back from this Frankfurt/New York flight, I have every intention of getting a new PC and apply with another internet service provider.

Fortunately for me, I'll be back just in time for SITEX...

Till then, I'll just have to make do with free internet access that the company provide.... Thank god.

Im in New York at the moment. I thought that my pickup time for my flight back to Frankfurt was at 630 in the morning but its actually 630 in the evening. So theres another 12 hours to go... And I dunno wat to do cos Ive already packed my bag and all.

I spent my time yesterday walking around the city by myself. Something I thought I wasnt able to do. I didnt want to trouble the other crew and besides all of them had their own agenda.

But I was satisfied. Managed to see the United Nations, Trump Tower, Central Park, Bloomingdales, Saks, Macy's, Empire State Building, The Chrysler building, Rockefeller Centre, Radio City and down 5th, 6th, 7th, Park and Madison Avenue. True enough, New York is really THE place for shopping. Theres soooooo many shops, I tell you... Can go crazy.

Theres only one thing that I wanted but have yet to see though. The Statue of Liberty. Its too far for me to walk there yesterday. Not too sure if I want to unpack and go there today. Maybe this time round, I'll pass, and hopefully next time, I'll get to see it...

By the way, I meet up with Azhar in Frankfurt. Luckily he was around to go sightseeing with me. The other crew all want to tidor in the room as it was too cold outside. So thanks to him, I get to see Romerberg (where they had the Christmas tree light up), Zeil, The Old Opera House and the Bridge on the River (I forgot the name..).

Thanks for the company Boy. See u back in Singapore next 2 weeks (or so).

Prego.

Im now in Rome, Italy. Making use of the free internet access at the hotel..

This is by far the best flight I have so far. Well-behaved passengers, nice crew and of course, beautiful, beautiful city. I even had my first compliment letter.. Makes me feel that at least theres still hope..

It has been 4 days and Im going back to Singapore later. Cant wait to go home... As much as it is great here, I miss home so much. U would think that people in Singapore would complain abt everything but the one thing that you cant substitute for back home would be the safety.

Even in a city as comely as Rome, you have to be careful, I tell you. My friend's mom got pickpocketed and everywhere you go you really have to be wary of people.. When we were in the train, we saw someone took someone else's wallet and took off right there and then JUST before the door closes. And it was right in front of a policeman some more..... Amazing.

But nevermind, Im going home and Im glad that nothing happened to me here.. Went to the Colloseo, Palatino, Fontana Di Trevi, Vatican City, Spagna and also the Basilica of Santa Maria and St Pietro. Had lotsa fun. Hopefully I can get to come here again...

Been waiting and contemplating for quite sometime on whether or not I should get a new phone. Whats with the whole 3G thing and better camera phone models you see nowadays. I too long for a phone with better features and capability. There were some criterias that I find rather imperative for my new phone.

1) 3G technology - If its not, then why wanna change right?
2) MP3 and radio - to keep me company when I need it
3) Camera with higher mp - just in case i dont want to carry my Nikon
4) Bluetooth - for easy transfer of files
5) User friendly interface - must be easy to use for me; in other words, only NOKIA
6) Size - Cannot be too bulky and guy-like

So you see, im not really fussy on phones. My choice was actually torn between the N80 and the N73. And in the end, SIZE does matter...

Best thing to do.. see how they're gonna perform in The Final Showdown. Then we'll see who gets my vote... I promised myself that Im gonna vote at least 5 times in the Grand Final. Im pretty pleased with my results. Better than what I anticipated to get. Although I was expecting LBO to be higher than OT, it turns out to be the other way round. But thats beside the point. What matters is that Ive finally completed my university studies and earned my degree. The only thing left is convocation.. At long last, I'll be a graduate. Something my family can be proud of. 2nd lower or not. :)

Right now, Im preparing for the first training 2moro. I'll try to be as good as possible. But if im not up to your expectations, please be kind and patient. I understand how fun it is to zap people especially trainees but lets not overdo it yah... I dont want to end up tearing...

When i was lookin around for a digital camera, i only gave myself 3 choices: Sony, Canon or Nikon. Got some important info from Faiz and Dean abt some considerations that I should take note of. With that in hand, I was set to get my long-awaited digital camera for myself.

And i did just that. Out of all the choices that the salesperson presented, i fell in love with this one. And with that, here's presenting... my very own camera.... :)

Got my collared dress yesterday.. make it TWO collared dressES.. and two new t-shirts.. And to think i was thinking of saving.. Haizz...

But thanks to tuty, cos she helped me a bit. If not, I'll surely jolly well spend on shoes too.. and more tops. MD said I should learn to exercise more self-control and live within my means. That is say.. Savings are meant to be saved, not spent. Orang tu kan dah ambik banking and finance sekarang. So he's concerned about any financial issues of mine.. and I think I need that. Without somebody to look over me in that sense, i think i'll be doomed. But of course, end of the day, its me who have to train myself in the art of limitation.

Okay.. that said, I'll just touch on my well-spent weekend. Went to the beach on Saturday and had a good time with two great groups of friends at Sentosa. And then had dinner at Far East Square. In the night, I went out with Pearl, Mint, Jerelyn and Chuan to Velvet Underground. There I saw my SIM-SRC gang. Charlene, Adrian, Gan, Shaune, Peter, Ben, Brian and even Mary. Its been so so long since I saw them. Still as funky as ever.. ;)

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY everyone!!

I caught the fireworks yesterday and i must say.. it was really impressive. An entire 15 minutes of pyrotechnics display up in the clear dark sky of the Esplanade. If only I wasnt squeezed amongst the crowd.. There was too many people!!! Not that im complaining, cos at the end of it all, it was well worth it.

So today is a holiday. Amazingly, theres no good shows on TV. Apart from the parade later and Singapore Idol, that is. These are the only programs i intend to watch. Other than that, im not interested in the rest. And FYI, this year im rooting for either Hady or Johnathan to be the next Singapore Idol. Like what Ken said, these are the only 2 deserving contestants. How true.
I dont even want to bother about what Ja have to say. I think shes the most un-appealing judge there. Whatever she say will never fail to come out as a slur and i always end up saying "What the...?!!??". Her comments are so redundant. Geram seh tengokkan dia kadang2...

Im having trouble booking for my TP date. The next available date is on Oct 25th. Which, by the way, would be the 2nd day of Hari Raya. So tak kuasa seh. So now i have to wait for the next test date to come out, then i'll book. At first i didnt realize that its the 2nd day of Hari Raya until the girl pointed out to me. I guess I didnt expect that Hari Raya would be coming up oh so soon.

How fast time flies by.. I dont even remember what ive been doing for the past year or so. Luckily i keep a blog. Spent some time readin through some of my earlier posts and smiled when i start recalling. In times like this, i wish i possesses the Universal Remote Controller that Adam Sandler had in CLICK. Just so i could rewind my exeriences and pause as and when i want to. Oh.. the changing color and language part is cool too.. But unlike him, fast forwarding my life is something I would not do. Who wants to get older faster, anyway? Not me, I'll say....

Polo tees

Went to Suntec yesterday and bought lots of polo tees. A total of 6 in fact. Tats a lot okay.. within a period of 2 hours.. Me and MD had our dinner at Marche. Was supposed to go there with Haslin but she kinda cancelled out on me.. And I was so craving for the mushroom soup and Rosti. But end up havin the Salmon Steak instead. I did get my mushroom soup as well though..

Im now waiting to go to my practical later. First time learning during the day. I hope its much better than learning at night.

Anyway, MD told me that he wants to further his studies. Good for him. The intention is there but theres a lot of things to consider.. generally, TIME and MONEY. Hope everything will fall into place with no hiccups...

Speaking of studying, I wonder when the results is coming out. Its almost August. Im so eager to get it over and done with cos Im so looking forward to Convocation. UOL did send me the Student Questionnaire and Continuing Registration letter but im gonna assume that I dont have to do anything about it..

Gosh.. Its been so long that i almost forgot my userID to blogger lah.. In fact, more than a month ago. I wouldnt even blame you guys if you dont even visit my blog no more.. And to top that, they even remove my Shakira music video.. Haizzz...

Still, since i have a lil bit of extra time now, i decided to do a lil update but before that let me just give a shout out to AZHAR aka BOY whos wayyyyy in Germany road tripping around with his purple hair-do and all.. tengok castle lah, mountain lah, beach lah.. segala2 lah!! Bukan main lagi.. ;)

Back to updates about my life... Basically nothin much. Been taking car practical lessons religiously every day for the past couple of weeks and the next one as well.. My dearheart says he's going to let me practice with his car.. but i scared i will mount curb. Seriously~! During the practicals, i mounted curb like dunno how many times seh..
There was this instructor that took me. He said he was feeling sleepy when we start our lesson but soon after, he say that the way i drive makes him be totally awake. Member baik2 ngantuk, terus tak ngantuk lagi lah!! And yah.. he actually uses the word "roller-coaster". My problem is my speed adjustment as well as always forgetting to chk blind spot. Must work on these weak areas if not, TP sure jia-lat.

Adek Elnie gave birth to a beautiful baby daughter last Monday, July 17th. Her Name is Putri Qiara Isabella. Absolutely adorable, I tell you. Went to their house to pay her a visit last sunday and the mom made me one of my favourite dish of hers, Serawa Durian. Best!! I went for 3 rounds and on top of that, i also eat her Mee Soto.

I didnt stay too long cos Ive got to send Ros off at the airport. She's going to Bali for 12 days. She was going with this french dude that had just came from Paris the day before just to travel to Bali with her from here.
We kinda decide to play a trick on him. Whilst Ros was on her way to the airport, I walked up to him, introduce myself as Ros's friend and told him that Ros have changed her mind about going for the trip. And that was 30mins before boarding time, i tell you. He was so shocked as he have never met me, only heard about me from Ros. I acted like the whole thing was serious and he got seriously upset. And i mean SERIOUSLY UPSET. Going on and on about how its so unfair that Ros play him out at the last minute and how he had spent so much just to travel here and there just for the trip and being forced to make a decision within the next 20 min on what he should do next. Just as he was about to burst, Ros popped from behind and we did a "GOTCHA!" on him. That was puas hati...! Hehehe.. He then went on about how he's going to kill us for playing such a trick on him. It was so funny.. He actually bought me a fridge magnet from Paris cos Ros told him I love fridge magnets from overseas. But after what i did to him, he said he dont think i deserve it.. ;)

Oh.. besides the driving practicals, I was also involved in photo shoots for Kak Su's portfolio for her booth during the latest Pameran Pengantin. The photos are with her but I have one of the brochure with me. When i visited the booth, it felt so weird to be lookin at your own photos knowing that alot of people will be lookin at it as well... Thats like a first for me cos ive never done anything like it. The one that i was involved in for the SIM pageant doesnt count. This time round, it involves a profit factor for Kak Su so its different.

One last thing that I'll share today is a special dedication to a special boss who passed away in his apartment on Jul 19th, 2006. His death came as a big shock to us and we are all still mourning for him. He was such a great boss. The funny and witty one. The one that knows-it-all. Always spreading humour and laughter in the office. I treat him with fatherly respect and I will miss him a lot in his absence. Its really sad to think about it and I'm sure his 2 daughters and wife will miss him even more. My love and condolences goes out to his family and hope they will find all the strength to get through this. God bless.

Ive been hit by the flu bug. Since yesterday actually. My nose was already running at work in the morning but inspite of that, i persevered the whole day yesterday to make sure that I stick on to every single plan that was made.

First, the whole farewell thing. Lunch at Sushi Don and Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake!! Sick or no sick, ive got to eat it and i sure did not regret it. 2 slices some more. But farewells are never really a happy occasion. Anyway, they've been so great. Will sure miss them.

And BBQ chicken wings and sate @ECP. Dah lama seh planning.. So cant cancel. Didnt want to anyway. But the problem is, my throat got worst so i went back straight after that.

I was still contemplating about the final plans of the day at home after dinner. Clubbing with the girls. I was really really sick but I also didnt want to spoil the plans. I already promised that we will go after exams and they are already waiting for me outside. In fact, I was the one that suggested we go Friday. So takkan nak cancel kan. KONPERM kena spot nyer.. So nak taknak, pergi jugak lah.

We checked out The Butter Factory @Robertson quay. Pretty happening I might say. But the place is like elusive gilerr... Great music, good crowd, pretty girls, not-so-handsome boys (those boys who are, they're probably gays). But me, ros and dahlia enjoyed it. Bila kat dalam, sakit-sakit semua lupa lah...! Hehehe. Tapi tu lah, bila dah keluar, when Ros suggested Simpang after, even Dahlia noticed that i was already half-dying. She said setengah mampos. So before anything, i declared that i would have to cancel our beach plans for the weekend.

So thats it. This weekend i'm just gonna rest. No other activities for me. Just relax and chill and tend to my sick self. Must make sure im well for Monday. Cant wait for MD to come back from Bangkok. I think thats the reason why i got sick.

So surely he can make me feel better. He always does noe how to take care of me. Tapi.... i think confirm i kena spelling first one...

People say that Im unusually bright and cheerful at the office today. Its not my clothes, i tell you. Im wearing jeans and black top so theres definitely nothing cheery about that. Seriously speaking, I am in a pretty good mood today. Stark difference from yesterday.. cried like a baby right here in the office because they dont want to approve my leave. Yeah.. emotional giler, i tell you!! Tu pon nak nangis..

But today I think I know why I was emotional. Apa lagi kalau bukan pasal bulan mengambang kann.. Heheheh... So that kinda explains the mood swings. Bad yesterday, good today. And yah, they decided to change their mind after all.. Thats one more reason why I was bright and cheery. I was the MOST polite and MOST nicest with people and ALWAYS smiling no matter.. Even one of my bosses exclaimed, "She seems happy today. Whatever Radiah put in her coffee, I want it in mine!! And make it a double!!" Bill, bill.. the funny one. He's going back soon. Surely I'll miss him...

The thing is, I kinda feel the cramps creeping up.. Thats not a good sign I tell you. It could badly affect my mood.. But since im in town, if it does, i just go do some retail therapy and im sure everything will be alrite...

Exams over!!!

Wooohooo!!! Yes lah bayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy-by!!

Today marks the end of my exams. Which also means that I no longer have to go through the whole "exam-period-have-to-study-shit-so-cannot-do-anything-else" nonsense.. *sigh of relief*

So now im officially no longer a student of SIM. Time to focus on my career.

Had a talk before the exam just now with Sianli about work and stuff. I was telling her how the job im currently holding is too stable for me. It would be a good last job, something I would not mind staying on for a long long time. You know, the kind of job that you can do when you want to "kumpul-duit-nak-kahwin" kind. But for a first job... thats a questionable issue. You see, what I would have like to do is to try out other vocations first... see what its like out there.. gain experience.. develop network.. before i delve into something predictable. My young blood wants to experience being dynamic and volatile. But like she said, and maybe also the rest of the people i talk to, its so sayang to let go. True enough, it is. So the way i see it, thanks to the good advice from Ros, only change job if you find something that you are really passionate about doing, or something that pays you much higher than what you earn now. NOTED.

Now, I know that this is long overdue but still, give me a chance to talk about it, wont cha? About my super McFun Birthday Party lahhh... One word to describe it.. BEST!! Thanks to all the people that turned up. My dearest Yusof and Afri, Hafiz, Tuty, Tini, Faizal, Zul, Rosz, Azhar, Farhan and Raudah, Rizal, Dean, Dahlia, Roslinda, Fazilah, Mahathir, Ardhilla, my cousin Izan & Brian and last but not least, Haslin and nephew.

You guys made it such a memorable event. One that I will remember for a loong long time. Once again, thanks for coming. The gifts are great, guys. And Tini, yours was delicious. Ive been using the nice-smelling hands and nails cream, you know. Just finding the right time to use the rest. I love it. Speaking of gifts, my darling girlfrens got me a COACH clutch!! Yay...!! Now i have a dangling bag to carry around instead of one oversized bag filled with UOL study guides and lecture notes. Thanks darlings... appreciate it.

And speaking of darlings... I would like to extend my most heartwarming hugs to my sweet sweet dearheart who have made me feel like such a princess on my birthday itself. All that pampering was wonderful. Thanks for everything..

Celebrated my brother's birthday today by bringing out my family to have the Dinner Buffet at Sakura Restaurant Downtown East. Puas betul satu2 makan. Cekik sampai muntah kedarah..

And not only that.. Ive been going to buffet for the past couple of days like nobody's business. I really really really need to watch it. Must maintain weight. Yeah right!

Friday, it was the dinner buffet at Royal Plaza on Scotts with my colleagues. My favourite was the bread and butter pudding.
Now that is a must-try.. Sedap gilerrr!!

The next day was my chief's bridal shower at my boss's place at Four Seasons Park. One of the rare chance i will get to try my boss's cooking.. and whaddya know? It was really good. I couldnt get enough of the Rosemary Potatoes. It was the first time ive been to a Bridal Shower by the way.
Basically, we talk about the wedding and stuff and give presents to the bride. Actually, there was supposed to be games and stuffs and the gifts must be tied with lotsa ribbons really tightly and for each ribbon that the bride-to-be-broke, that symbolizes the number of babies they will have...

That was Saturday, which was also Roslinda's birthday. Met up with the girls and we celebrated by having the chocolate buffet at Fullerton. But before that, Radiah ambitious-giler-tamak-nak-mampos konon ingatkan makan chocolate ajer tak kenyang, so before the buffet start at 8pm, I actually went to get myself a cheeseburger there lahh... Gelojoh kan? Isshhh~! But it was a good cheeseburger so no regrets. Even the girls liked it. We even made it a point to go to Fullerton whenever anyone of us craves for a cheeseburger.. Hehehe.. For $16, its really worth it.
So back to the chocolate buffet... It was sinful just to see the amount of chocolatey stuff on display.. My favourite was the Fullerton Chocolate Cake. Best!!! And the thing about chocolate can make you hyper? Its true. Cos after that, we had so much energy to make our way to Swissotel Stamford to party at New Asia Bar all the way till abt 3am. Wahahahhaha!! A well-spent birthday celebration for Ros indeed. Luv u best fren!! Enjoy your diamond ear studs yah... ;)

Okay... Like how happening lahh my life, right? YEAH RIGHT~!!! I dare myself to say that again, man. Enjoy and eat too much already seh. Now guilty conscience. Right the very next day, I straightaway went to study lahh... Went expo with Zul and Azhar, who will be taking their POA examz tommorrow. Good luck guys!! See you after tuesday to study some more aite..?

hmm.. lemme see... what can i update about today?

Studies.. moving rather slooooooowwwwwwly.. But at least its moving..

Something fruitful that i learnt last weekend was how to swim.. properly. At least now some people cant say that i swam like a "dugong" instead of a "duyong"..

2 of my girlfrens havin issues with their respective fiance. Its kinda amazing to see how people can still hang on to relationships.. No matter what the problem is, they are still not willing to let go. But i wonder... is it venturous to stay on just for the sake of staying on? Sure.. some problems are minute compared to others. What about macroscopic issues then? Things that you know could possibly pose as trouble anytime in the near future. Wouldnt that be a lil bit risky?

Especially when it comes to marriage. Which can lead to divorce. And that would suck, wouldnt it? Things can still be favourable when you're young. But what if you're old and you have kids and your kids are all big and growing and you just come to a point when you realize that enough is enough. Then what? Susah kan.... And so the leceh some more.

Stress. Stress.

What would you do if your hati berbelah-bagi? Like caught in between love and rational behaviour.. There are just too many things that you would want to look forward to but at this point, there seems to be little possibility of them happening. Dissappointing. Very. I wish that things had been better for us. I had often hoped that things like this would never have to happen to us. That it would never have to resort to this. Its heartbreaking.

The crunching of the heart is beginning.. Should you be gone, something will definitely be missing...

Maybe.. just maybe.. i should start being tak kuasa about everything.. And when i do, I wouldnt even be bothered to make anything happen. And then we'll see how it will turn out.. to be in this on your own...

Before i go, let me just mention this particular pet peeve that i have. Its when you're out with somebody and throughout the outing, the other person would be on his/her phone the entire time you're with them. Its okay if you have other company but if its just the two of you, puh-lease lah.... A lil respect would go a long way, you know? How important is that phone call anyway that you cant even excuse yourself? And even if its that important, just get straight to the point and hang up lah. Or say that you'll call back later or something... Tak payah sampai bergantung aperr... Sheeesh!

Layzee days are here again.. How apt.

Been slacking a lot these past couple of week.. Or so.. FAR too much i'd say..

My plans to study over the weekends failed. Terribly. Macam tak menjadi seh. And to think I had my study schedule all planned out... My foot! Now im like waayyyy far behind. Will be in hot soup soon if i dont buck up. Need to get back in momentum. Soon. But radiah now sekarang tengah macam mood dasar-besar-punya-pemalas-nak-mampos-nak-bukak-bukak-buku-tapi-tak-bukak-jugak. Yah.. yah.. i noe. Tahu pun!! Ok lah. This week i'll start again. Confirm. Next weekend, ive already arranged a full day study session with Azhar. So the rest, please feel free to revert ur attendance to us k..

On another note, guess who made a trip down to Jurong Bird Park yesterday? Heheheh.. mestilah me kan. It has been ages since i last went there that i dont even remember exactly when. Primary school maybe.. So of course i was like super excited about it. With Usop, Fazilah and Mahathir. Siang siang dah sampai seh. 8.30am lah.. We thought the place opened at 8 but it turned out that its at 9 instead. So semangat right? Konon konon nak breakfast with the birds lah.. Banyak punya breakfast. Instead we try to catch as much shows as possible. The first show we caught was the Birds-of-Prey show. Best!!!

You know why? Cos ur fren here actually raised her hand to volunteer lah...!! Wahahahah! I was asked to handle this certain Malay eagle owl. The trainer placed it on my hand (covered by gloves) and asked me to bring it out from the back and introduce it to the audience. So there i was, "Ladies and gentleman, this is Rocky. A Malay eagle owl. And hes 25 years old!!" Berat nak mampos pulak tu. But it was a really cool moment for me cos ive never been so close to an owl before. Make it two. Cos after i introduce Rocky, the trainer placed another owl on my other hand. So basically, although i can say that i look like one idiotic scarecrow, with both my hand outstrectched, in front of about a hundred people at least, I can say that its one brave moment that i'll never forget... Best! As soon as i uploaded the pictures from MD's handphone, i'll surely put it up.

Theres more that i can say. About the penguins, Lory loft, the Waterfall aviary (with the highest man-made waterfall), the flamingoes, talking parrots, pelicans, ostriches and more.. But i shall not bore you all with the datails. Overall, i had fun. And even though the guys were really tired due to their lack of sleep (pasal kena paksa bangun pagi), it was a fabulous day out..

Slept

I slept like a log yesterday. I slept so much its not even funny. I even slept thru Desperate Housewives lah... and thats like the only highlight of the day I was looking forward to.. Haizzz....

It started sometime during the after-lunch hour. You know the expression "penat semacam"? That was what i felt. Seriously. From then on, all I could think of was go back and sleep.. go back and sleep. But of course, not before havin dinner at Liang Seah first with MD. Or the place where Faiz fondly called Ah Chew Hotel. Tak glam langsung seh..!!

And who would have expect? On the way back, in the train, who else could we have met if not the ex and GNF. Well, they certainly seem fine. And we're fine too. Lately theres been a lot of the story of them girdling around in my life.. I should just resolve myself to be unfazed about it.. Wouldnt want that to affect me now, would we?

Especially not when everything is pretty much hunky dory and A-okay...

I seriously dont know what i was thinking at that point. I just agreed without putting much thought into it. Pity? Sympathy? Guilty?

I mean although it was not entirely because of me, (they had their normal arguments but it so bad to a point that everything has to be pulled in), I cant help but feel that was it because of me that he turned out that way. Come to think of it, what the hell was HE thinking?

Whatever i heard was just so not the him i used to know. How in heaven he changed to be an insensitive turd also i dont know. And its not as if its MY fault. He was the one who made the decision. So even if he regrets it, its of no absolute use.

Is it her then? Maybe.. But she said shes tryin.. Its good that she wants to. And I hope he does too. From what i see, they both have to put up with a lot. Whether things will be really okay, we cant say. Last i heard since swensens on thur, she decided to bend over and have things his way. I do hope they know what they're doing. Too much kept emotions. Too much control. Too much insecurity. But if thats what they think is best for them then i genuinely wish them all the best.

At the end of the day, I realised that all i really want is to say "Im happy for you" and meant it.

Botanic Gardens Part 1

My lunch today was wat I would say as a "picnic in the park". For the first time ever, I finally set my foot in the Singapore Botanical Garden. And in case anyone is wondering just how come Ive never done dat before, let me just tell you that as a primary school student, instead of giving us excursions to Botanic Gardens like any other normal pri sch would, my school gave us excursions to the likes of a hydroponic farm instead... Hydroponic form lahh!! So yah.. i was that deprived..

And who would have the honor of being the first guy to bring me there? A dearheart indeed... Careless me forgot to bring my wallet, you see, and so my idea was to borrow money from colleagues for lunch. But instead of doing that, MD came by with food and he took me to the Botanic Garden to enjoy that scrumptuos meal of assam pedas ikan pari beside the Symphony Lake. So kira macam mini picnic lah... Though its simple, I really enjoyed my lunch. Something different... Looking forward to going there again and exploring more of the grounds. Especially interested to see the Orchid Garden. Said to be one of the largest in the world. Expecting to see if I could find my Blue Orchids there... Though i doubt so, but who knows.. ;)

On another note, i managed to save my PC from dying. Yesterday when i tried to transfer the PC to a new computer table, I accidentally dropped it and upon setup, it started to make this continuos beep sound. Its the kind of sound you hear when people go dead on the operating table.. You know, that heart trace thingy. Whatever i do, it just refuses to boot up. As usual, contacted the Masters of Computers, Azhar and Dean and it was suspected that some internal components could be loose. So just now, I spent my time pressing on all the components and bingo! Its works! At least its still alive and use-able.. for now.

Gosh! I should just be getting a new one already! I dunno when I would actually get down to it. Takkan nak tunggu sampai yang lama ni meletup baru beli baru, kan? Nak cakap sayang, tak lah sangat.. I think it just me lah.. I think that I would only get a new one if this current one im using is totally beyond repair. Till then, I guess i will just continue to use the 'electric shock' method whenever it goes 'beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppppp!".

My office underwent a renovation through the weekend. After 6 months of working there, I finally had my own office space, complete with flat screen monitor, you!
Im done with probation, by the way. On top of that, because of my added responsibilities, i also got a mini promotion. Now, with my new space all set up, all im waiting for is that new name tag that they put on your desk.. but in the meantime,

Lo and behold....! My new workstation. My very own, no less. Time to bring in the personalized stuffs and decorations.. Frames, pictures, posters and wat nots..Woo-hoo!

Melayu

Sewaktu bekerja semalam, saya dikehendaki membuat penterjemahan bahasa melayu dengan seseorang pemohon. Tetapi saya mendapati yang saya tidak cekap untuk bertutur secara formal dalam bahasa melayu. Ia kerana, setelah selesai, kawan sepekerjaan saya telah memberi komen iaitu, "Dek! Apasal Melayu kau berterabur?" Alamak! Kena spot lahhh! Sheesh!

Jangan salah anggap. Bukan saya tidak biasa berbual Melayu. Malah, bila saya bersama teman-teman, kami semua ada jugak bertutur dalam bahasa ibunda kita. Seperti yang saya katakan, untuk berbual secara formal, itu yang saya ada sedikit masalah dan saya jangkakan yang masalah ini akan berleret-leret jika saya tidak buat apa-apa tentang ia.

Saya rasa masalahnya disebabkan kerana kita selalu sangat mencampur adukkan bahasa Melayu dengan Inggeris dalam perbualan seharian kita. Kerana kebiasaan, apabila kita dikehendaki berbual dalam bahasa melayu sahaja, dengan tidak menyedarinya, kita cuba memasukkan tata bahasa dan unsur-unsur Inggeris dalam percakapan kita. Saya rasa itu yang membuat saya mendapat komen bahawa Melayu saya berterabur. Tidaklah sampai lidah terbelit atau pelat, cuma tidak fasih. Itu yang saya risaukan kerana ada seketika dahulu saya ialah salah seorang murid yang cemerlang dalam bahasa Melayu.

Dalam pada itu, saya rasa ada baiknya jika saya mencuba, dengan sedaya upaya saya, untuk kembalikan kefasihan saya supaya saya, setidak-tidaknya , boleh berbual secara normal bila dikehendaki berbual formal dan tidaklah hingga kedengaran berterabur atau kekok..

Ida weds

Let me give a lil intro about my extended family.. Altogether, we have 6 people born in the same year of '81. Three girls and three guys.. All of us have a natural bond with each other, especially the 3 girls - Idah, Aishah and Radiah. Doesnt matter that one of us is living in Malacca, we still have that certain closeness from young. Its one of those "no-need-to-say-far-but-always-close-at-heart" type of closeness. Theres no need for us to keep in constant contact cos whatever it is, because of us being born in the same year, we will still have that kind of connectivity.. The whole family knows that so no matter what, we will always be associated with each other..

So the thing is, last saturday, i went to Idah's wedding in Malacca. I made it a point that no matter what, I will still go to her wedding so off i went.. Aishah already couldnt make it due to work commitments so I have to go by hook or by crook. It was a nice wedding, havin its own grandeur in its own simplicity. Beautiful. My cousin was looking her best ever, i tell you.. Couldnt say the same for myself, though. Cos everyone commented that i put on weight.. Not fat, but "berisi". In other words "still looks okay but in great danger of being fat". So i guess thats red alert for me..

Apart from these type of comments, what i get more from the family is the "When is your turn?" question. Thats what im perturbed about. Like i said, because of the connectivity we three had from young, we will always be associated with each other. Aishah's married with one son, mind you. Idah's just got married so the pressure is now on ME. Me me me!!! Its alrite for the three guys to stay single. But they expecting to eat my nasi minyak soon.. Aaarrrgggh!

Look.. its not as if i dont want to get married okay.. Like every other girl, all of us will always look forward to that Big Day of ours. Im no different. I too want to have a husband to call my own, somebody you can lean on, someone whom you share your ups and down with, get physically close with without any restrictions. I too want to have my own children (and maybe one or two adopted ones) and build my own family. But as much as i want these, it takes time for me to get them.. and money too, of course. I know that age is not going to wait for me and i have to think of settling down soon. Im already 25 this year. Not only 25. My mom already warned me that she wants me to get married before i hit my late twenties.. definitely before i turn 30. Although she doesnt pressure me, somehow or rather, her words just get to me..

But its still not a call for desperation... yet. Until somebody pops the question to me, i just have to make do with what i have. As much as i want it, it will only work if somebody wants it too.. For now, I shall keep all these girly wishes aside first and try to concentrate on other important things that i must consider. Like money and work and study as well, mind you. My studies is not officially over till i get that Bachelor's Degree. By right, marriage should be in the cards for about 2 years after you complete your studies. But by left, who knows.. could be more, could be less. Let fate decide. As what i put in my friendster profile, "Although the present is our own, the future was with Fate..". In other words, what we do today is entirely on our own decision but what happens tommorow was already decided by fate. Nobody knows whats going to happen.. It all depends on your destiny...
